Amjad Hashem is a contemporary artist based in Amsterdam since 2016 and a fine arts graduate of Damascus University (2007).

Through figurative paintings Amjad has developed a body of work that delves into themes of identity, self-discovery, and the inevitability of change and transformation. Through deep self-exploration, he has embraced transformation as an intrinsic aspect of the human experience.
